Until you can see the bright side, I will sit with you in the dark.

So many of us are sitting in the dark. Grief, loss, depression, suffering – none of us can escape these events in our lives. I have learned through my own grief and loss that it takes time to heal and there is no time frame for healing. Loss of a loved one does not equal one year of grieving. Loss of a job does not equal six months of depression. Show your love for another by sitting with them in their darkness, without wavering, and let your loved one know it's okay to just "be" in the dark while they work through their unique healing process. And never forget, there is a light that shines above and around all of us – the light of Divine Presence. It continues to shine brightly even when we are temporarily blind to it. – Much love, Amara
