It is impossible for something to fall apart without leaving broken pieces — emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Brokenness brings a time of sadness over what has been lost and a much needed period for grieving and healing. As hard as it can be to even conceive of the idea of something new growing among the broken pieces, it always does. It’s inevitable that life keeps moving forward and will drag you with it, even if you’re kicking and screaming against it.

Realize that you already have the internal Powers of Intent, Gratitude, Meditation, Mindfulness, I AM, Wording, Thought, Prayer, Emotion, Belief, Trust, Surrender, and Inspired Action that will come to the front lines to help you when you are ready to push forward. These Powers help us glue pieces back together, add fresh soil, new seeds, and grow from the destruction of whatever it was that broke us. Once these new seeds begin to grow and we can see what it is we have planted, it is then that we have achieved a new level of wisdom. The wisdom of knowing that not everything that breaks us should be viewed fearfully or negatively. Many times, we need to break to let new light shine in through the cracks — new energy, new opportunities, new experiences, new people — that will help us grow into who we are becoming.

This blog is based on the book Creative Meditation and Manifestation: Using Your Innate 21 Powers to Create Your Life.
